As have posted below optimistic that our new structure will bring out the best in our
technically gifted players. nelson, Pritchard, Wes and Maddison are all technically very good and if we can get the platform right behind them I am sure they will cause teams a lot of problems this season.
Was fairly predictable that Wes would enjoy playing a more technical style of football with emphasis on retaining possession and moving the ball. We have the players to do this (and indeed anyone at West ham in the prem will testify we had the players to do this in the prem) but towards the end of Neil's regime were basically playing kick and rush counter attacking football because all of our attacking ability/confidence was gradually and then constantly undermined by our horrendous defending.
If we don't sell too many more players then I am positive about next season, despite what others might think.
