I love Nirvana, not a huge Foo Fighters fan but...
They do dumb rock and sometimes that's what you need to listen to. They were deliriously entertaining yesterday, Dave Grohl is a hell of a performer and they were perfect headliners. They have some great tunes - This is a Call, Learn to Fly, Monkey Wrench, Everlong - and sometimes you want rock to make you smile. Nirvana were the better band but Kurt Cobain rarely makes me smile.
