Yes, great read

I did a case about outsourcing once, a listed company which went rather spectacularly bust after the 2010 election. There's a lot of truth in what CWC said, although equally there was genuine waste and inefficiency for outsourcers to eliminate (for example a culture in one housing association maintenance department where doing one job a day meant you had done your bit, even if that "job" had been changing a door handle!). The trick is finding the balance.
