Very unlikely that's how they got her email address. More likely that she
actually has used them before, "liked" them on Facebook, or signed up to some s**t somewhere online which sells email addresses on.
OR was you use airport WiFi where you first have to "like" the airport or some such on Facebook ? I think I had that in one of the American airports. Detroit or something. Then they take your email address from FB and spam you from all the shops in the airport basically.
Thank f**k for 4G and not having to go onto dodgy Wifi networks anymore.
