It was Michael Bailey who 'broke it' (and masturbated all over the Internet in the process) - Davitt actually tempered it by saying it was likely, but (the no small matter of) compensation had to be resolved.
Do you want the club to announce something before its been completed - Hereford opening themselves up to ridicule if they can't complete? You're mixing up your clamour for moment by money Internet updates from the club with actual due process on what is likely to be ones of the biggest decisions they'll ever make, to be honest.
