Hello Drothgons,

I have discovered a gap in a large market and I'm asking for £5,000,000 for a 10% share in the business.

Please allow me to explain and then I shall have your money.

It has come to my attention that one college in Norwich just under 50% of pupils arrive without the required C grade in Maths or English. They then have to sit re-sits if they wish to be able to continue with their studies.

So far so good?

Excellent. Figures from the DoE show that 77.3% of students in England do not attain a C grade in English or maths when they resit the exam post 16. Seventy Seven per cent. Let that sink in for a minute.

More often than not they re-sit these exams over and over again, 5-6 times is not uncommon at all.

Each re-sit costs £30 roughly.

In 2013, the government introduced a policy that said students in England who fail to get a grade C or above in GCSE maths or English should carry on studying the subject, or subjects, until the age of 18, with the aim of achieving this mark. 440% rise in the number of students taking a GCSE since the legislation was passed.

Let us go back to that one college in Norwich it has a pupil population in excess of ten thousand students.

So, about half of these are re-sitting their exams, numerous times. The college hasn't got the capacity to conduct these exams on site so is hiring the Royal Norfolk showground buildings to conduct the exams. The cost for hiring this per day is a £50k. Fifty Thousand Pounds per day. Then add onto that the costs for invigilators, transport, venue setting out, catering etc and extrapolate it out over the number of colleges in similar predicaments and the sums involved are phenomenal.

I therefore propose that you invest 5 mill in me to build/buy a large enough venue and transport assets to fleece the bejaysus out of these poor unfortunates that are stuck in a ridiculous circle of ineptitude.
