Famine only exists for political reasons. Look at what is happening in South Sudan at

the moment for example. And you know what happens to most of the aid money don't you? So what's your solution?
We all know the problems. But how do we solve them?

I think you're one of those who looks at the world, sees all the horrors, & thinks how can this be so? It can only be because it's controlled by horrible people. Well, why do you think this is? How do you remove these horrible people?
The really awful ones are rulers in one party states. No democracy. If you think living in our democracy is comparable to living in those places then you're plain deluded. Whether you like it or not, democracies by & large get the leaders they deserve. So -if you think it's so bad here & in America - you might as well top yourself because it ain't gonna get much better - UNLESS you can provide most people with a better alternative sort of leader - one who makes it better for everyone, one they can believe in & one who won't cock it all up.

The world is an unbelievably complex place . Nearly every action has unintended consequences.
All of us were born to suffer. Until we reach a completely non-material state the physical reality of life entails suffering at some point. All you can do is reduce the suffering to a minimum for as many people as possible, & this can only be done one step at a time.
