10th or higher he’s safe for next season

Like ten years ago, we’ll end up upper mid table, never really in with a shout of the play-offs, winning home games in sometimes poisonous atmosphere and doing nothing away. In 06/07 we also had a good period over xmas winning 5/5 then Safri left for the AfCon.

Manager will stay until the end of this season and position may well become untenable some time into next.

As regards the new CEO, and wanting his own man, (ref McNally Aug 09), state of NCFC nation is different to what is was then so will be much more difficult for new CEO to wield the managerial axe.
