Maybe the main reason for such levels of blubbiness

is the gap between expectation and reality?

We've been worse before (much worse). We've had worse managers, worse players and less money. But most of us thought and expected that this season would be like the last one under AN in the Champs, and it hasn't turned out like that - thus misery. If that's so, then we should all cheer up - because reality really doesn't warrant this level of unhappiness.

That's not to say I think we're being particularly well run or managed, and it might even be that this mini-era of promotion/regulation is coming to an end - but still, none of that suddenly means that this is the worst thing ever, and I'm never going to bother again - all of that seems to me like a colossal over reaction (understandable though it is). So cheer up all, and OTBC.
