Lafferty and Bassong are a different case to the likes of Olsson, Ruddy and possibly now even Naismith. In the summer I would have said losing the latter two would not be much of a blow but Ruddy suddenly looks much more solid than McGovern and Naismith seems to be finding his feet a bit.
