Signing very average players on big contracts that are now holding us back. Bassong, Turner, Whittaker, Ricky Van Wolfswinkel...

he got some right too, snodgrass (but not sure that was down to him), fer, Redmond.

He was the first manager at Norwich to have a decent budget and he wasted it on RvW.

The style of play was terrible and we were getting worse, not better. We did his career a favour by sacking him as somehow he's come out of it smelling of roses, but that is because of the poor management of the situation by the Norwich board who should have fired him at Christmas.

Also, if you look at the final table from the season before, it looks good, we finished 11th. Look at the table after we lost at home to Villa and that tells a far more accurate story of our season. We were very close to relegation. It was only a very good run in October - November that saved us.

Enjoy the good times, they won't last. They don't at any club. In the meantime, try your best not to be too much of a dick.
