and if Rvw, Elmander and Hooper are your only strikers in the prem - then you're not going to stay up going to toe-to-toe with teams. He was absolutely correct to set up defensively and try to grind to safety.

And, as we saw a few weeks ago, when he has good enough players for the league, his team can be devastating going forwad.
