Sorry, he made a change that lost us impetus but it was actually
taking Wes off for O'Neil not Redmond. I was indeed getting confused with Highton's awful sub at the same ground!
Bringing Wes on at Newcastle wasn't the problem either, it was who he brought him on for. I just cannot conceive of how any vaguely competent manager could think that was a good move but as we now know Neil cannot read/manage a game once it's in progress. He's ok at setting the team up at the start presumably with the help of his analysts.
