I've been to Lille. The Palais des Beaux Arts is fantastic
There's a cool vinyl and book market in ones of the squares, there's some excellent Local and Irish bars, great restaurants and cool shops, a Chinese take away where you select everything from various dishes and then they heat if up o you take it home to heat up, fantastic cake and pastry cafes. It was f**king cold in February though.
