A lot of money for a speech BUT no speech is two hours work. If as a freelancer,
I do a presentation at a company I will not only charge the time I'm standing there speaking but also the hours (many more than the delivery) that I spent preparing and rehearsing it.
Typically it could be up to a week prep (perhaps even more) for a talk that I am giving for the first time, and probably two days or so for one I've given before and adjust to the new audience.
But 80k isn't bad for a week's work, I'll give you that.
