We do have a reasonable negotiating position because

ultimately its mutually beneficial for both sides to do a deal that sees both sides prosper and contrary to what some politician say publically I suspect that there would be quite a lot of support for reigning in "freedom of movement" amongst most European Nations.

It should not be beyond the wit of 27 national governments to be able to tweak the definition a bit so that all sides can claim a result of sorts.

Need Junker, Shultz and Tusk to be told to f**k off though before any sensible discussions can take place.
