What finer way of stating their backing for him than the sanctioning of the Earnshaw deal?

Quite obviously he now has the rest of this season, plus more money to spend in the summer (when, no doubt, more young players, including Shackell, will be on their way) and most of next season to royally f**k up as well.

In a word: marvellous!
