As someone who's retired and a baby boomer
Lucky or just someone who has thought about the future? I looked upon my pension contributions as a form of tax that I had to pay and did so for over 45 years. And thanks to that it paid off. So as I say to my kids, as tough as it sounds, I worked for this and managed to provide them with most of what they needed, even though time were tough. Thatcher's years were especially tough when we were bringing them up and money was very tight. My parents weren't house owners and neither am I so theres nothing for the kids from me in terms of property.
Yes we are the luckiest generation in history but is that a problem or just jealousy?
