But down the years I've seen some absolutely amazing sport from the Ryder Cup. Fantastic.
The needle adds to it and a few dicks in the crowd is just part of the narrative.
Without the dicks you wouldn't have had Rory's amazing eagle and celebration on Friday night.
But as I said... each to their own.
