Spot on. The fundamental problem is the lack of mass employment jobs. Technology is

removing them at an increasing rate. Most low paid jobs have to be subsidised, & unfortunately the burden falls increasingly on those just above that level. The rich are motivated by being rich, so extracting money from them is very difficult, as all governments have found.

Paradoxically we have loads of stuff but no equitable way of distributing it. This conundrum has to be solved.
