Yes, because we're stuck.

The thing about sport is it always asks the question: "What next?" How can we improve, how can we get better, how can we raise our sights higher?

The answer, sadly, is as long as we have our current owners, we essentially can't. And yes, that is boring. It's also why managers and players treat us as a stepping stone.
