the money allows people in there different sports to train full time , travel to warmer climes in winter to train ( if its a benifit ) hire good coaches and pay them

But you have to have the talent to begin with Great Britain /UK has always punched above its self whether it was putting together the biggest Empire the world has ever seen or as we see today in Sport
