I agree it seems less frenetic on here this time

Partly as others have said because we are only just getting to the peak of the sitting down sports in which we excel as well as the lack of home advantage.

I also think the time difference changes things too. Although I've got the week off, I don't really want to stay up to 2 or 3 in the morning. And the enthusiasm for me is less that it was for the once in a lifetime home Olympics (twice in a lifetime for my oldest sister but she was only 2 in 1948 and isn't interested in sport anyway).

A quick burst of sitting down medals will put things right. I've got 2 PCs with wide screens and a TV in my study so I can watch 5 things at once if it really gets going.
