Today was the day in 2012 when we started winning things

We're never been particularly prolific in the swimming and it's when the cycling starts and rowing gets to the finals that we start winning in bulk.

The timings don't help - most of our medals have been overnight and it simply can't have the same buzz as London. It won't be as good or as exciting... it can't be. But that was a once in a lifetime experience.

But it will pick up and it will build and it will be brilliant.
