radical idea for new england boss
instead of always picking the overpaid prima donnas from a few "big" premier league clubs,i.e. those with great club skill and no heart or desire, how about going for good players who have big hearts ad lots of desire, those who will give 100% for 90 minutes.
Using "big stars" doesn't work so must be worth trying!
sort of players i'm thinking of is Grant Holt of 4 years ago. good player, not brilliant, but willing to give it all.
in fact not that much dissimilar to wales, or the Irish teams, yes they didn't get any further but maybe the togetherness those team showed added to hopefully slightly better players ( we have more to choose from) would work better. perhaps we would think that they may not win the tournament but then the current player don't win it anyway
