...the subsequent change of approach kind of was his fault, if you're also saying that by not changing it we'd have picked up more points (even with a shoddy defence).

Not saying it's all his fault - it isn't - but the key is that he is inexperienced and failing to play his more natural, pressing, attacking game against the likes of Villa away, Palace away - where we sat deep when it was not necessary or desirable - did ultimately cost us.

If we'd played Wes, Redmond and Mbokani together in just a handful more games, then I'm sure we'd have got those extra goals we needed like we did earlier in the season.
