Howe has had loads of time to mould his whole squad to his preferred style of play. AN has not, most of his squad are players he inherited. A lot of the apparent uncertainty of style this season is probably due to him trying to find a style that the squad he has are best suited to (not that any style will survive all your strikers being out of form), which might not be the one he personally would prefer.
