A little perspective is needed on this whole thing about McNally upsetting people within,

Speaking as someone who worked at the club up until about 9 years ago, I've heard some from people at NCFC now who say it can be difficult at times working with/under McNally/Bowkett (in the past). But most of them agree that he's a fair guy, a good guy who takes his job and the health of the club very personally.

I know that when I was there, just before the McNally era, the club had a lot of people there doing not a lot and a lot of people freeloading from the club. The previous reign had welcomed in anyone and everyone basically, which probably goes some way to understanding why our finances were so dire.

These people were obviously a bit put out when McNally and Bowkett came in and tightened things up. McNally/Bowkett were straight onto this and put a stop to it right away, obviously upsetting people in the process. Some of these people are the ones who are most vocal about McNally, because they're still upset that they have to pay their way now like the rest of us.

So just worth remembering that when you're speaking to 'sources'.
