It's a rubbish summary tbh
Larry suffers from picking good points but surrounding them with ill-informed tosh that doesn't bear scrutiny. Eg the sweeping generalisation that the top conservatives weren't state educated, when half of thd cabinet was (even Gove started state and only went private due to a scholarship, he's from a labour family)
BSF was PFI, which is almost universally panned by most people (a good scheme if done well, but rarely done well)
You had examples of BSF programmes that took 6 years just to get to build stage, let alone completion, so it's not as though BSF was some raving success story cruelly scrapped. It was unaffordable.
And I don't get why Larry thinks 'unqualifed' teachers are bad in state schools but supposedly fine in private schools given he thinks parents will flee to private schools, who have always been able to use them.
Thete are more holes in his logic but it's a Saturday and the sun is shining.
