Stupid substitution taking Tettey off and our usual defensive nativity cost us but we actually outplayed Newcastle for most of that game. He just needed to adjust slightly to stop the fullbacks getting caught up the field so often and move Martin out wide but he embarked on two months of f**king about with the team which saw us lose all momentum.

Bournemouth and Watford meanwhile (who were behind us) kept faith with what they were doing and started to reap the rewards of continuity of selection/philosophy.
