Norwich Night-life.......... ................

Went out last night thinking we'd go somewhere cool club-like and have some interesting Mediterranean bar snack food (that wasn't pizza)... and then realised there isn't much like that in Norwich.

There are restaurants and there are pubs and there are clubs... but there isn't much in between that is cool.

The nearest I can think of is the Workshop which does good food and is a bar but it isn't really the sort of place that people would go glam.

There's the Last Wine Bar and Cinema City bar but neither are edgy-cool.

Many years ago The Aquarium (it was in Tombland) did great food but it could be very formal downstairs in the restaurant and yet the complete opposite upstairs in the bar area.

Last night we drove into the city centre, thought about where would be cool bar to go for food & drinks... and then went home and got a take-away.
