Morning Yellalee. Having spent years recommending Edinburgh, I'm now all of a dither to

give advice!

Who's going? And when are you going? I guess couples will do different things to families or stag parties so I'm not sure what you're after but here are some of the things I enjoy...

1. Walk around it and explore - it's a beautiful city with the Old Town and the Georgian New Town. You could go for a ghost walk in the evening where they'll take you through the narrow alley ways and tell you about Burke and Hare et al

2. If you fancy a longer walk, climb Arthur's Seat or Calton Hill for fantastic views

3. There are loads of museums and galleries to visit if that's your thing. The (free) National Museum has a fantastic mechanical clock that's worth visiting on the hour to see it working!

4. There are also loads of other attractions to pay to see. I think the camera obscura is excellent. We also enjoyed seeing the Royal Yacht Britannia in a nosey kind of way.

5. It is packed full of lovely shops, bars and restaurants if that's you're kind of thing and there is always some sort of event going on.

Have fun - lucky you!
