I was just addressing the question in the original post

I think Trump is a dangerous t**t. Johnson is a more directly dangerous t**t right now to me.

The question was about similarities between the two. Clearly both have some appeal to some parts of the electorate, no matter how distasteful that might be to some of us. My response was just to speculate about what that might be.

I don't think it is particularly healthy to respond to an attempted explanation of a particulary phenomenon
with such spleen.
