Should drop to a ?5 a month subscription and be like any other subscribtion service

Those who don't pay for it can therefore be entitled to the radio and 'some' channels. All current radios could have adverts running whilst those who subscribe could get a newer device which would automatically sign you in and you wouldn't get the adverts. It could still be live to subscribers and non subscribers (adverts could last the length of a song on free radios, and radios logged in would hear the song instead)

From there they should retain their own channels instead of networks like Dave repeating their programmes. That way they can repeat their own shows with advertising by having freeview bbc channels with advertising

BBC have advertising and make money abroad, so if they're struggling with a model that's failing then they should move with the times
