yes, the extra TV money will be a leveller

so this is a real chance for some smaller teams to break the stranglehold that the bigger clubs have had on the top half of the Prem for years now.

It's a leveller because although the top clubs will still sign the best players, clubs like us would be able to out bid top overseas clubs to the next rung of talent. So the difference in ability of players between us and a team like Man City will be much less than in the last few years. If the signings work out then there is a real chance of several smaller clubs challenging for the Champions League places imo.

It is our best opportunity in decades - and probably the best for the foreseeable future - to break through the glass ceiling.
