i have no clue but i will say these points in no particular order
1 if he isnt going to play, why have him as a financial burden.
2 same as above, but also a bad influence in the team. this isnt saying he was causing trouble, but having someone permanently unhappy in your team has a negative effect on others.
3 making a profit. we probably have one chance to make this money on him. bournemouth would be the only club willing to pay the quoted 8 mill. regardless of them staying up, im not sure they would pay this in the summer.
4 we have no idea on timings. sadly it could have been a now or never offer.
all things considered, i would sell. he's a negative to us if he stayed.
now speaking regarding the lack of a player to replace him, separate issue but should be addressed.......
that sucks. its been plain as day he would go for months AND we needed another striker regardless.
we should have had a plan A and B in place and be trying to make the deals happen in week one of the window.
it seems like something has been wrong in ncfc transfer purchases for some time and it needs sorting.

- Are we strengthening them ? It may be that when he plays he weakens them. (n/m) (NCFC) - Steve in Holland, Jan 12, 17:19:14
