Puzzled...again
Not a regular but got to get something off my chest or I'll go mad...
I accept, albeit reluctantly, (at 49 yrs old I remember Keelan & Co) that football is now very much a business - so why strengthen one of your rivals and weaken your own hand at any stage in proceedings let alone days before you play them. Strategically footballwise and businesswise this makes no sense unless you replace him immediately and strengthen your position and it's fairly clear that Naismith isn't a done deal yet......If only we had a renowned economist on the board to make calculated decisions that strengthen rather than weaken our hand!!

- Are we strengthening them ? It may be that when he plays he weakens them. (n/m) (NCFC) - Steve in Holland, Jan 12, 17:19:14
