and ordinarily I would agree with you about WOTB's histrionics, But in this case...

Worthington has had more backing from the board in terms of hard financial commitment than any other manager in NCFC history.

We are now squad-wise in a worse position than when he took over, thanks to his ineptness in the transfer market. Indeed, if it was him taking over he would be paying up the contracts of most of the squad as he did with Walsh, Dervel, De Waard etc.

Ashton is far from a cart-horse, I would rate him as the future England centre forward for the next 10 years. No problem.

It is down to Worthington that he is now being sold - because with the addition of a bit more quality in the summer, and some wiser decisions on who to release, who to give 2 year contracts to etc, we would be in Reading's position.
