Watching the Sky Sports News coverage...

...it's weird seeing how happy he looked after scoring against United, Newcastle and Manchester City - he had a real spark about him, looked like he was part of the team and had the club at heart.

Scary to think we turned him into a sulky lone target man with slumped shoulders in such a short space of time - probably best summed up by his look to the crowd at Loftus Road as 'what a load of rubbish' rang out.

I really hope he does well at West Ham, and eventually gets his place in the England set-up which I'm confident he's capable of (my guess is Euro 2008, but he may...just may...sneak into the plans for Germany if he hits the ground running at Upton Park).
