Funny to think that we are so set in our selection

I was once captain of a rugger club where the 1st XV which went through a bad season. I just kept on picking the same players because everyone knew they were the best players. I never gave any of the second XV players a run to see if they could make a difference. I sometimes look back at that and think what a s**t, blinkered bit of captaincy it was. Sometimes you just get too set in your ways.

Hey ho, I'm sure you're right about what will actually happen. But if Rudd has a blinder then you'd hope someone would notice.
