Germany (and we) are much better placed to be able to help.

If we weren't so f**king self-obsessed in this country and the media which form so many opinions weren't controlled by a greedy sector with vested interests in power and economic control, maybe there would be more sympathy. I find it hard to believe that people exist who can't see the situation for what it is. The BBC, FFS, is so scared of being labelled "biased" that they refer to the refugees as "migrants" thereby making it seem that they're just after financial gain.

The education sector has to do safeguarding training very frequently - the latest focus in this area is terrorism and radicalisation. Teachers are no supposed to be looking out for the first signs. I can't help but think that as a society we're breeding fear and distrust rather than looking for solutions.
