2nd biggest city in the country etc

He came because of his mentor at Birmingham, and his Mum let him - e.g. they trusted that Hughton would look after him. Ironic that he's developed more now he's been given more freedom to attack since he left the club, but the original reason for him leaving Birmingham and picking us still stands.

The manager does play a part in player's decisions to join
