Almost completely agree; the only thing I'm not sure about is whether we will ever be attractive to decent overseas players.

I'm not sure it's just a case of such players finding newly promoted clubs unnattractive. In our last season in the Prem we were on the back of successive mid-table finishes and still couldn't attract our main targets (Alderweireld, Biglia, Quagliarella, Toivonen etc..) Not massive names, but ones which could have taken us to the next level.

We just have too much going against us for such signings to take a punt on joining us (not much money compared with other PL clubs, not an attractive location, unknown manager, relatively small stadium, not a very international squad etc...) Most of that won't change even if we stay up for two or three seasons.
