So if someone posts a joke that appears to be about rape

Why doesn't anyone ask him if it is a joke about rape, or if he thinks rape is funny and a laughing matter?

Using the "text-only board" format, rather than flying off the handle so quickly all the time without understanding the meaning of the message first (which incidentally could be exactly what most assumed it was).

If someone said something in the street/public would most not question them before attacking them for what they thought was being said?
