I have come into possession of a Referees exam paper issued by The Norfolk FA.

These are genuine questions, I will post them one at a time during this evening because it takes me ages to type with my sausage fingers.

Just for fun and no looking on the interweb for your answers.

Q1. players from both teams are completing the Respect handshake on the field of play just before starting a game. the Reds striker approaches a Blues player and verbally abuses him. what action do you take.

A. Speak to both players and the team captains and warn them that action will be taken if this continues during the game.

B. Send off the Reds player leaving his team to start with 10 players.

C. Send off the Reds player who can be replaced by one of the named substitutes before the start of the game.
