If you treat as somewhere you want to go, you'll use it all the time
You could archive your phone numbers 5 at a time until your phonebook is backed up off your sim
All my appointments and addresses/phone numbers are on there
When your mates text you "october 17th, we're going to the O2 for xxxx you in?" you'll write the day, date and event in your spreadsheet and you'll see it a week later and think "oh bugger, forgot about that", then you'll decide if you can make it and buy a ticket. I have a column next to this saying "ticket bought?" then yes or no next to all the things coming up
Then I date order them so they don't creep up like a shock "oh s**t, my sisters wedding is in 3 weeks". At least you'll be shocked 3 weeks before and not 4 days before it :)
