Basically, "bleep" was the first authentically British electronic dance music movement. I.E we did it, wasn't a rip-off of American stuff etc. Originally made by teenagers/early 20-somnething types in Yorkshire cities (and later the Midlands) in the late 80s and early 90s.

As I said, a bit specific. Haha.
