Maple syrup pancakes!

Exactly that. Bit of bacons for me, Mrs B will demure (not a big fan of the bacons).

Up at sparrowfart for a run, get home while (hopefully) Mrs B and the lad are still aslumber, mix up the pancakes, wake the house with a wooden spoon and a saucepan when everything's ready.
