All of which said, this election has switched me from interested in PR but behind FPTP to firmly behind PR. The HoC Britain voted for is entirely not the HoC Britain got. Yes that means UKuntIP should have more seats than they do but the answer to that is not to game the system against them (as it currently is - as it is against the Tories, interestingly) but to answer their "points" calmly and rationally and win the argument. Fighting fire with fire is all very well; fighting fire with water is what works.
