Suggest.....
You get a doctors letter (will cost you ?20) to give to your work to request an actuated desk (a desk that you can raise/fall on an electric actuator). That way you can raise your desk and stand - best thing for your back. When i work from home i either sit at my usual desk in my office but more often than not take my laptop through to the kitchen work unit as its higher and stand - does wonders for me back.
